If you like TNG and haven't watched The Orville, please give it a chance. The storylines have a similar depth and optimism, the characters are compelling, it looks and sounds beautiful and the laughs go from a little goofy to utterly heartwarming 😍 #TheOrville

I put off watching The Orville until this week because it looked like a bad comedy version of Star Trek. Come to find out it is basically a reimagining of TNG specifically in some really great ways. The comedy finds a good balance particular after S1. Really good scifi!
