Just to get it off my chest. Anthony Rizzo is not washed and I’m excited to see him hopefully stay healthy next season. He was literally playing like a top 5 first basemen before the Tatis collision. He’s going to be a great person to have around these rookies.

We paid for Stanton, and Donaldson, both former MVPs. But we are having a hard time coughing up money to our OWN MVP?? Absolutely unforgivable if he doesn’t come back unless Babe Ruth rises from the dead and can hit 100 MPH sinkers and sliders that break 21 inches horizontally.

People like to forget how we got here. Gotta build a team that doesn’t rely on one player to hit the finishing blow every game, Altuve and Yordan were terrible, yet Chas, Peña, Bregman, etc all stepped up. Rizzo and Bader were great offensively, but nothing was timely.
