The way Gintoki respects women is so beautiful to see.
It's never preachy, Sorachi wrote a MC that genuinely admires women for their fortitude and kindness, their prowess and beauty. For the million of ways in which they confront their hardships.

Episode 9 of OG Trigun is still one of my favourite episodes of anime.
There's something so nice about the way Wolfwood and Vash interact and seem to understand one another even if they've just met.
This scene in particular is when I knew they were going to be something special.

Him leaving the pier after Majima took a bullet for him was out of character though. And the fact that it wasn't in the original game just makes it worse because it just feels like it was written to justify Majima crashing into Shangri-la later.

It's not the digital art It's the person they chose to have do the character designs. They look exactly like Kuroko no Basket characters and that's why I had a hard time watching it.

Gintoki is usually a skilled, seasoned fighter that never loses his cool in battle.
To see him turn into a literal mad dog that would do anything to bite his opponent and lose himself to his rage like this is chilling.
And he lost to Jirocho because he lost sight of himself.

I'm rewatching OG Trigun and Legato's introduction in ep 12 still gave me goosebumps.
Seki Toshihiko manages to sound so bone chilling and threatening without ever raising his voice.
I miss hearing him in anime so much. He is one of the greats.

The use of black and white is so masterful.
I love especially how that black and white of Gintoki on the battlefield turns into colours once it shows him being carried by Shouyou on his back.
Shouyou is the one that turned Gintoki's black and white world into one full of colour.

I started watching Gintama in my late 20s and it helped me overcome a lot of my own problems and accept myself as I am. It helped me understand things about myself. Yes it did change my outlook on many things.

The Japanese dub is so good in DMC 5 since we have Morikawa Toshiyuki as Dante, Hirata Hiroaki as Vergil, Ishikawa Kaito as Nero and Uchiyama Kouki as V and I am sad the other games have English audio only.

I am sorry but the biggest issue I personally have with the new LOTGH adaptation is the character designs. I think it was a terrible mistake from Production IG to have the Kuroko character designer do the character designs for LOTGH.

They really saved a low budget messy adaptation with their acting.
The whole science fiction approach to what is a supernatural reincarnation story was not it, but they managed to stay true to the characters from the novel and make us fall in love with them.
If we're sharing our "hooked" scenes.. it was this.
At this moment I wanted to know absolutely everything about the both of them and why Shen Wei was refusing to let him go, how many times had he lost this man before to make him hold on like that?
