Cultural differences between SAns are huge. In my opinion the conflict of irreconcilable cultures is not well understood. That complicates the advancement of democracy, equality, non-racialism and non-sexism which are constitutional imperatives ito s1 of the Constitution, 1996.
@RediTlhabi
There is no agreement between Zim and SA that South Africa must supply medical treatment to Zimbabweans. Medical Treatment Visas issued ito s17 of the Immigration Act, 2002 are required and it is a serious contravention of ss49(4) of the same act to help undocumented immigrants.
Your ancestors were not even part of South Africa in 1652 unless you are Khoisan. Your arrival and aggression caused and still are causing many problems.
On this day 6 April 1652 ALL the problems of the Southern tip of our beloved continent started….
It will take a monumental effort on the part of all patriots to erase all the rot, hatred, misery, racism, landlessness and bloodshed which characterised our society since that day!✊🏾

Correct. The purchase of Lesotho water was negotiated. If you want to buy something from South Africa, kindly also negotiate it. That is what responsible nations do to help one another.

What must he do about unbalanced reporting and the nonsensical opposition to the rule of law, protection of illegal immigration and subversion of the existing immigration laws by many journalists? Speaking out and using his freedom of speech to lambast them is perfectly legal.

You concern is indeed well founded. I wonder what you and other legal or undocumented immigrants that entered South Africa illegally by deliberately avoiding border control to roam freely in the cities and towns and on the streets of another country are going to do about it.

Driver's licenses never expire. Only the license card expires every 5 years. Regular renewal is a money-making scheme of the concession holder in cahoots with the SACPANC regime. There is no evidence how this racket could curb forging licenses.

SA already have a state owned Land Bank, Post Office Bank, DBSA and the IDC geared to advance transformation. I see no need or gap for a replicating state owned bank for the account of already overburdened taxpayers.
Rubbish. They are not informal miners. They are illegal miners and that make them criminals in the eyes of the law. Stop sugar coating the criminality that damage SA's economy and social fabric.
Minister of Home Affairs letter to the Zimbabwe Diaspora dated 31 December 2021. SA cannot afford the administrative burden placed on South Africa by Zimbabweans.

Some people need to be rescuers and they will cast others in the role of perpetrator. The Karman Drama Triangle explain the sick game white supremacists play that ascribe to Kipling's "White Man's Burden" that believe black people are victims and cannot think for themselves.
Unacceptable emotional blackmail. It was their free choice to stay on in SA after their visas expired. They knew very well from day 1 that ZEP that it was a temporarily arrangement. Some/many have a false expectation to force permanent residence through judicial overreach.

Undocumented immigrants that entered SA illegally are marching against the rule of law. What they are doing is unforgivable.
SA cannot document undocumented immigrants that entered SA illegally. They must get their travel documents from their home countries. Visas can be issued by SA only for documented applicants. Those that don't qualify for the range of visas in the Immigration Act, 2002 must leave.
Impressive. Congratulations ActionSA. Keep up the good work and convert Johannesburg into a safe and world class city and the jewel in SA's economic crown.

Absurd and patronizing request. The Zimbabwean government is the problem. It is exclusively their fault that their economically oppressed and unhappy citizens flock to South Africa causing us huge unresolved problems. I wish Zim will get their house in order and keep it in order.
"It also considered the online abuse that Maughan was subjected to, mainly on Twitter, by some supporters of Zuma."
Shame on the supporters of JZ that abuse social media. Those who share a twitter sphere with them is acutely aware of their malice.
Zim children did not belong in already overcrowded and underfunded SA schools in the first place.
Zim parents making a living and sending their income home is bad enough for SA's economy and unemployed citizens.
And bringing their whole family with them is not covered by ZEP.
Almost 200 000 Zimbabweans will be compelled to return home as a result of the Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP) extension coming to an end in June of this year. Many parents are now concerned about how their kids will transition out of South African schools as a result of this.
