@Adam9Green @niveteran @CharlieRadUK @richywalsh20 @Brockholme Soz. One is AF (Pension) Scheme the normal military pension - the other is AF (Compensation) Scheme - only for those injured due service. The War (Pension) is the old version of AFCS Simples - not really - LOL

@Adam9Green @niveteran @CharlieRadUK @richywalsh20 @Brockholme Guys. I believe Public Health Service Ombudsman now deals with AFCS and War Pension disputes. This is quite new, so it may have been different till recently. VAPC has no remit over ‘normal pensions’ - despite our name 🤔

@AlistairCarns Al - great idea. Give the post real authority and the remit to cover veterans - the full Armed Forces Community! Can we also have a continuous attitude survey for vets. We appear the only part of the AFC not surveyed regularly. Mark François suggestion in Committee.

@Brockholme @PHSOmbudsman @VeteransUK_MOD @AlistairCarns Ian - the tone of PHSO response is critical; as is a short time frame for MoD to respond. It is my opinion that PHSO must target the response at a very high MoD level (not Vets UK - as the antagonist). I suggest @CDP as action, and Min for Veterans as copy. Keep me cc'd or call

@M4MHA @AlistairCarns Trevor. Of course. DM me contact details. I am hoping Minister will do similar, so I can brief him privately. I know his civil servants will tell him we shouldn’t be involved. VAPC is ‘supposed’ to be his legally established focus, but VetsUK have quite simply made us impotent.
