Honored to received the William Smith award from @STOPDWINewYork @NiagaraSheriff @NiagaraFallsPD. STOPDWI plays an integral part in making NY’s streets safer, yet it remained underfunded for years. That changes April 1st, when legislation I sponsored creates a new revenue stream.

Did you know that fines for alcohol offenses in New York can range from $300 to $10,000? On top of fines, court surcharges, ranging from $260 to $520, are applied to each offense, and a $750 Driver Responsibility Assessment is levied by the DMV
