All roads and routes previously closed for snow and ice clearing including I-10 and Northbound and Southbound I-310 have reopened as of 4:10 PM on Friday, January 24, 2025. Please continue to use caution and drive safely to avoid any remaining ice.

President Jewell signed an executive order to close all government buildings on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, due to the arctic blast in St. Charles Parish. River Birch Renewable Energy has also suspended residential trash collection on Wednesday.

River Birch Renewable Energy has suspended residential trash collection on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in anticipation of an incoming arctic blast and icy road conditions. Residents with Tuesday collections will have trash collected on their next regularly scheduled day.
