Jen Oakley-Swartz is a 1997 Bellevue grad, the longstanding nemesis that has often stood in the way of success for @NHSTruckers girls basketball. The once-reluctant assistant is the connective thread tied to all the lows — and milestone highs. My story:

With a 48-32 win at Columbian, the @NHSTruckers girls (18-1, 9-0) have clinched at least a share of the program's first ever league title. It was the oldest program without a title at the school. The Truckers are also one win away from tying the most wins in a regular season.

On Dec. 1, 2001, it cost $1.08 for a gallon of gas. The No. 1 movie was the first of the Harry Potter series. The top song was “Family Affair” by Mary J. Blige. And until Jan. 4, 2025, it was the last time the Norwalk girls beat Bellevue at home. My story:

At 6-foot, 165 pounds, @mhsgoeagles senior Evan Benfer's size didn't suggest he'd be one of the best players at Monroeville. But from winning team sprint drills as a freshman to laying his body out on every tackle and run, Benfer left his mark. My story:
