Really great article from

"Giménez is getting close to a final form - a lock at the top of this lineup for years to come (w/improvement against fastballs) - but it can only happen with a little more discipline against breaking pitches"
Trading away Cookie a year after he returns from a cancer diagnosis and is on the verge of his 10-5 rights just so you can save some money is an absolutely despicable act. Beyond business and into just being a slimy garbage person making decisions.
What Mike Clevinger did was reprehensible and warrants a lengthy suspension, IMO, short season or not.
He put the health of his teammates and their families in jeopardy for a night out, then lied about it.
The Indians better believe like hell in Eric Haase. Otherwise not letting Francisco Mejia get his shot only to trade Yan Gomes six months later is ludicrous.
Here’s how fast Indians home opener tickets have sold in recent years.
- 2015: 11 minutes
- 2016: 40 minutes
- 2017: 3 minutes
- 2018: 1 day before they were made available to the public
- 2019: <1 hour
- 2020: 4,408 minutes and counting
A lot of players coming out against this rampant Astros cheating. Can't wait to hear Justin Verlander rip into these disgusting cheaters that he hates so much.
Any minute now.
On a difficult day for
@Indians
fans, some perspective to consider: Over the last 8 seasons -- the Terry Francona Era -- Cleveland has the best record in the American League. And only the

have been better among all

franchises during that span.

Your thoughts on Kenny Lofton? The longtime

Trading Corey Kluber absolutely sucks on an emotional level, but if you can't see the benefit of completely fixing the outfield by dealing one player from your deepest position, I don't know what to tell you
I don't think it's a coincidence that Ruben Niebla served as the Indians' MILB pitching coordinator and now is on the major league staff when these guys are all blossoming at once. Doesn't get nearly enough credit.
If you're a team that needs a starting pitcher, you should be ashamed you couldn't beat that deal.
If you're the Indians, you should just be ashamed in general.
Anthony Volpe, 21, who makes the

opening-day roster, will be only the fourth Yankee to make his major-league debut at 21 years or younger, joining Mickey Mantle, Ben Chapman and Frankie Crosetti.

Oh hey it's starting to rain in extra innings after the Indians took the lead against a team from Chicago. Anyone else suddenly feel the urge to ugly cry?
A four-run deficit erased. A game-tying RBI double with one strike left in the ninth. Three rallies in extra innings. A game-saving catch.
Friday night’s walk-off win had it all.
Dear opposing baseball clubs,
I’m sorry, but actually not really. This Cleveland Guardians team is going to annoy you all the way until October and that’s why we like them. Have a nice day.
If this team is ever going to succeed they need to get over their love of garbage veterans and start letting offensive potential grow. This obviously isn't working.
