@OurCLEGuardians Kwan and maybe Bibee. On the latter, the Guardians know better than us the current likelihood of him breaking down during an extension so I think that will be the determiner there.

@mlbfeeelit You have to ask yourself is it even reasonable that a FO could be that stupid? The only way it SEEMS to make sense is if Ortiz is just an Avila-like reliever, Hartle is worse than his meteoric fall in the draft & Kennedy is just a dime-a-dozen low velo HS pitcher. Just sayin'.

@CleGuardPro Changes nothing about our trade. It appears to be a steal. Only ? is why a very fringe team would trade good SP assets for a middling guy, presumably in hopes he breaks out in 2025. Just as puzzling as why a WS contender would trade their all-star 1B for a reliever & a CB B pick

@mlbfeeelit It is a dream to think they will spend this much. Clearly the need is there & it might justify, a little, the large sell-low on Naylor. But the true nightmare scenario is to, without deferrals, sign him to a contract with an opt out after 1 yr AND give up that draft choice.

@CleGuardPro @manzosmustache I've seen Lavastida catch a lot. We are talking ML backup here. The bar is not that high. I am not comfortable with Nunez as my #3 and Ancia as #4. Huff & Ingle are not nearly ready for MLB. I would take Lavastida for opening day backup C over any of those 4.
