This is objectively insane. The extent of injury issues the Bucs have been struck with so early in the year feels almost unprecedented.
Bucs starting right guard Cody Mauch suffered a season-ending knee injury Monday night, per source. Despite the injury, Mauch finished playing the game. Bucs are expected to sign guard Dan Feeney off the Bills practice squad.

Pretty wild to think the Bucs were so confident in his coverage ability they chose not to address any form of contingency in free agency. I won’t complain about the draft because I love what they did with every single pick.

Devastating. He was brilliant in the first 6 quarters of their season. Everyone who just looks at the pff grades isnt going to understand the impact of the player the Bucs just lost. Imperative they make a move before the deadline. We'll see if anyone becomes available.

It sure feels like the Bucs don’t have a great track record when it comes to rushing important players back from injury too soon. Jensen, Evans, Wirfs, Winfield, Kancey are just some examples of players who came back too soon in recent years & ended up missing more time. 👎
Bucs RT Luke Goedeke avoided major injury Monday night but is expected to miss time, possibly multiple weeks, per sources. The belief is that Goedeke re-aggravated a foot injury he battled during the practice week.

Just an unbelievably gritty win for the Buccaneers. Bowles. Baker. Bucky. Rachaad. The list goes on. A lot of different guys stepped up to overcome some serious disadvantages to pull this one out. So, so impressive. Now pray Calijah Kancey’s pec is not torn.

I’m no doctor but pectoral injuries seem to very rarely have a short recovery timeline, especially with defensive linemen.
