Today we honor and recognize the thousands of lives lost on September 11, 2001. First responders saved many lives that day. Some never made it home. We will #neverforget.
Sheriff Miyamoto joined State and City leaders this morning at @SFFDPIO Fire Station 5 to solemnly honor and remember the nearly 3,000 lives we lost on September 11, 2001. The names of the Fire and Medical Service and Law Enforcement personnel who perished at the World Trade Center were read aloud. The 3-3-3 bell rings signify "The Last Alarm." We will #NeverForget the day, the losses, and the sacrifice. #911 #WorldTradeCenter #FirstResponders #September11 #natioanldayofserviceandremembrance
