An unbelievable Y10 football match last night vs West Derby ending 6-6 after extra time with SFX goalkeeper Sean Preston equalizing in the last minute with a header. Sean then went on to save 2 penalties in the shootout to put us through to the next round of the ESFA cup.

He will be competing a year underage in the U17 3000m, with a current PB of 8:48.

This Xaverian has competed in the Merseyside Schools Cross Country and came 1st.
He will now compete in the English Schools Championship in March, to be held in Sefton Park.
He also runs with Liverpool Harriers.
If he comes in the top 8, he will be selected to run for England.

Last night we held our first post pandemic Proclamation service. This year's Proclamation service was extra special as for the first time ever it took place at St Francis Xavier's School in Salisbury Street, back where the college began in 1842.

One of our new Y7 pupils Luke Symons has been cast in a short indie film based in Liverpool in 1997 called ‘Local Hero’
The films shoots in Liverpool next month and Luke will play ‘Jamie’ an 11 year old Evertonian who is saved from drowning in a park lake by the said local hero.
