. I'm ready for whatever life has to offer next!
I got Pfizer.
Shot 1: Soreness in the arm, but that was gone after two days. No other issues.
Shot 2: Felt very sluggish several hours later, and suffered briefly from dizziness/a headache the next day that Tylenol quickly remedied.
No major issues to speak of. Vaccines work!!
People who have gotten vaccinated please share your experience so we can retweet. Aggressively.
The narrative of unconfirmed disproportionate horror stories is flooding the socials and it’s causing a lot of hesitancy.
Still doesn’t change the fact that it took an unspeakable tragedy to get them to change their policy on The Briscoes, even after multiple apologies from Jay (particularly in the last few years) and testimonials from friends and colleagues.
WBD shouldn’t be let off the hook.
Here's my take on the Sami Zayn/Bloodline stuff:
The storyline has been decent in a vacuum, and I would call the angle tonight "good", but MAN....some people are going WAAAAY over the top with all of this GREATEST STORYLINE I'VE EVER SEEN talk.
Reel it back in, guys. Come on.
Remember how prominent British Strong Style was at one point? Look at where they are today.
Well, you can really only see one of them today. You can’t find the other two with a freaking search party.
Don’t know if this has been brought up yet, but on WOR, Dave Meltzer mentioned that for the next round of Observer Hall Of Fame voting later this year, there will likely be a recall vote on Vince McMahon.
It's hilarious that they'll treat some wrestlers in their 40's as being old and past their prime, yet they're giving monster pushes to other wrestlers who are the exact same age.
Not enough people talk about the fact that the actual finish was AJ Styles CATCHING Kota Ibushi out of a Phoenix Splash attempt, and going right into the Styles Clash. That was so insane, yet they pulled it off perfectly.
Khan then talks about the "experiments" he's been doing with what he called a control group (what they have been doing) & experimental group (increasing allocation of sports-based old school wrestling) with the Continental Classic. He said the CC has been the most fun thing he's
@AveryHage
The one notable time that a close finish in the Truck Series race at CTMP didn’t end in some insane melee with the leading trucks spinning and crashing all over the place at the final set of corners.
July 6, 2014: In the history of auto racing, no one has ever driven 500 miles faster than Juan Pablo Montoya. In the Pocono 500 on this date, Montoya took only 2 hours and 28 minutes to win at an average speed of 202 mph, the fastest of all time
This is one of the most insane AEW related editorials I’ve ever read.
Nobody is suggesting that AEW doesn’t have issues, but the person who wrote this needs to have their head examined. Total nonsense.
"Right now, AEW is in the middle of a full-blown crisis and it’s not looking like there is an end in sight. CM Punk has been fired and is probably ready to go nuclear on the company in multiple ways."
Far from the first one to mention this, but it's very notable that the likes of Meltzer, Johnson, Keller, Pollock, among others (the biggest names in the wrestling media space) either didn't jump on the WWE/Saudi story, or only talked about the potential impacts of said deal.
A WWE PPV going off the air with the entire arena booing loudly, with "bullshit" chants and "AEW" chants mixed in?
Ya love to see it. Music to my ears. What a horrible company this is.

@LV5454
I truly wonder if hardcore WWE fans know what a great wrestling match is anymore. They’ve sat through so much garbage that anything that’s not garbage is instantly the greatest thing ever.
Well, here we go, typical WWE, they got it right at first, but now it has to keep going and going and going and going until nobody cares anymore.
#SummerSlam
Here are some interesting G1 stats for this year’s tournament:
- 30% of the field is participating in their very first G1 Climax.
- With Lance Archer returning to the G1 Climax, 35% of the field in this year’s tournament wasn’t in the tournament last year.
@dailydownforce
I was bummed that Mark didn’t win that one, but I was fine with the move. A simple bump-n-run like that without a crash is fine in my book.
One thing I'll say about the AEW/Wembley Stadium show....
I know it's right after the G1, but you KNOW that New Japan probably wants in on that action.
This is a massive win for AEW and a massive loss for WWE. I don't know how you can spin it any other way.
WWE put together one of the most stacked TV lineups they could up against a relatively normal edition of Rampage, and AEW tied them in the demo. TIED.
Last Friday's
#AEW
Rampage drew 578,000 total viewers, above 502K prior week. Smackdown drew 866,000 on FS1. AEW and
#WWE
tied in 18-49 demo (0.24), 18-34 male demo (0.20). AEW *beat* WWE in 18-49 male demo 0.34 to 0.32
according to this they will decide by next spring whether or not to tear down the tokyo dome and replace it with luxury apartments. if they do go with that plan the replacement for the dome will be where tsukiji fish market used to be
Also bwahaha MJF going right back to his "I'm leaving for WWE, this place sucks" act is going to make Meltzer lose his mind. Normally I think he overreacts to that, but on a night Tony Khan got booed and the company is in disarray, maybe you press pause on that.
@mongo_ebooks
What’s particularly funny about that is that he could potentially be talking about three different people. Action Andretti, Action Bronson (who had exactly one match in AEW), and Bear Bronson.
So Omega wins the AEW World Title, and Mox disappears for a bit....just in time to do a two week quarantine for a certain double-header in Japan on January 4th & 5th? 🤔

The fact that NXT is still on national television amazes me. It's a holdover from a war that ended nearly TWO YEARS AGO!
Surely the money WWE is making on this NXT TV deal (a total drop in the bucket) can't be worth what you're losing long-term by exposing these people so early.
The Briscoe Brothers were not only THE greatest tag team in the history of ROH, but arguably the greatest tag team of the 21st Century (The Young Bucks are the only team from this century that you could argue was better).
WWE has been giving us crap for so long that when they give people one decent/pretty solid/good story, people go so far over the top that it comes off like complete overcompensation.
Either that or they know that praising WWE gets them clicks. One or the other.
Miz looks totally untrained here. It’s like Cody is trying to do the type of fast-paced match you’d see on an episode of Dynamite, but Miz can’t possibly fathom keeping up.
It’s like it’s too much for him to process.
Daniel Garcia is wrestling Alex Shelley, CM Punk, Davey Richards, and Minoru Suzuki in like a five day span.
That man is a maniac.

Daniel Garcia is having quite the weekend.
Wrestled Davey Richards at AAW last night, he's wrestling Darby Allin on TNT right now, wrestled Josh Alexander tonight on NJPW Strong (a taped match of course), and he's wrestling Tom Lawlor on a show tomorrow.
#AEWRampage
#AEWonTNT
Bryan Danielson vs. Swerve Strickland sounds like an awesome match for next week.
Kinda says a lot about the MJF stuff that I'm glad that they're fighting for a TNT Title shot instead of a World Title shot, right?

So the biggest news to come out of
#NWAPowerrr
is that, following his invasion of the ROH event in Concord last weekend, Nick Aldis challenged Flip Gordon to a match at Hard Times.
@JHagholm1
@garrettkidney
Honestly, the thing that ruins this scene for me is just the idea that there's a universe out there where Road Dogg is a World Champion.
@NWCS_Standings
Felt all the way back then that Hamlin shouldn't have blabbered on about what he did after the fact. It might've gone totally unnoticed had he said nothing.
Talk about Actions Detrimental hahaha.
@voiceswrestling
That night they blamed Baron Corbin (who was all over the show at that point) for the poor ratings in storyline, and then they proceeded to.....continue to push Baron Corbin heavily on TV.
So for the big
#AEWDynamite
in Atlanta next week, we've got:
- Cody vs. Wardlow (Steel Cage)
-
#1
Contender's Tag Team Battle Royal
- Omega & Page vs. The Lucha Bros (AEW Tag Team Titles)
- Jon Moxley vs. Jeff Cobb
Can you say STACKED?!?!
#AEWonTNT
PCO vs. RUSH for the ROH World Title ends in a DQ after a big brawl breaks out between Villain Enterprises and La Faccion Ingobernable.
Nick Aldis then came out in a NWA Powerrr shirt and attacked Flip Gordon to send a message to Marty Scurll.

@MrJacobCohen
We've really gone from WWE hoarding talent and the indies being dried up to WWE cutting well over a hundred wrestlers in several waves, leading to free agents flooding the market in a time where a lot of the bigger non-WWE promotions are filling up quick.
I love how Pat McAfee clearly hasn't watched a second of WWE since he went to do college football coverage back in September. It's like he's been in a coma for four/five months.
I don't blame him, by the way. I just think it's objectively hilarious.
#RoyalRumble
So Dakota Kai becoming the first wrestler to have won titles in both WWE and SHIMMER is a statistic I didn't believe until I looked it up to double check.
Given all the women's talent that's come through WWE in recent years, you'd think that would've happened already, but nope.
I don't talk about the Wrestling Observer HOF much on here, but I just want to say that, if I had a ballot, The Briscoes and The Young Bucks would be two automatic slam dunks for me.
