John Metchie's film was much better than I thought it would be with how draft twitter talks about him. He is one of the more advanced WR's with his release package, route manipulation, altering of pace/stride length, and good overall YAC ability. #NFLDraft

This is the most comfortable & natural Tua has ever looked rolling to his right. He stayed poised, the release was super quick and loved seeing a different arm angle. Julian Hill finished this play hard and I believe we see a step up from him this season. #Dolphins

Jeff Thomas WR is freakishly talented. Has tremendous quickness and acceleration. Exceptional ball skills and tracking ability really stand out. He is very small and has some off field issues. Could be a UDFA steal if he can clean up the off field stuff. #NFLDraft

Calvin Ridley- Sells Vertical/Route Break. I love watching Ridley run routes. Here he does a very good job making the route look like a Go. He changed his stem angle just slightly to the inside which moved the CB and timed his break perfectly. Love his low pad level too. #RiseUp

Preston Williams movement skills for a guy of his size is special. You don't see many good route runners that are his size but he is good. He struggled with some concentration drops but if he becomes more consistent he will become a star. Tua will fit in perfectly w/ PW. #FinsUp

Why the dolphins let Chris Brooks go to keep Jeff Wilson around will never make sense to me.
IDK where the Packers found RB Chris Brooks. But the former UDFA had an OUTSTANDING game on Sunday. Impact as a runner, receiver, and blocker. Also willingly stopped from scoring his first career TD to seal the win.

According to this chart Tua was the least supported QB in week 2. Just unacceptable with the talent on the roster.
Combining these, the most supported QB is Carr and Tua was the least supported this week ( . Notably Jones was not only the most supported QB to lose his game, but also had a big advantage of his opponent QB (Jayden Daniels)

Dolphins really focused on adding this style of YAC this off-season. So excited to see Malik Washington in action.
.@MiamiDolphins rookie receiver Malik Washington led every receiver in this class in yards after contact. He forced 22 missed tackles in 2023, which would be pretty decent for a running back. That brand of YAC is one of the few things Miami didn't really have. until now.

Nik Needham really stepped up as one of the better player for the fins last season. He is a really fluid athlete that mirrors in press man really well. He will most likely be the dime CB this year but in this defense that's a lot of playing time. Nik is a dog. #FinsUp

Love this rep from Zamir White. Identifies LB flow and 3 tech instant penetration. Bends the run back and presses the unblocked DB's. He makes the miss with a nice lateral cut. Shows great body control, contact balance and play strength to finish the run. #NFLDraft

I’ve now seen it all… No more scrolling Twitter for me.
@davidrsoffer @SethWalder I think Hill is great, but somewhat one dimensional. He's a great fit for KC and now MIA, but he's not a Diggs or Jefferson or AJ Brown. He's in a great situation. If teams could redraft all the WRs I doubt very seriously he'd be taken in the top 10.

The game plan from McDaniel and execution from Tua yesterday was about as good as it gets. The result wasn't what they wanted but best game I've seen from them in a long time.
Film Breakdown: Tua Tagovailoa & Mike McDaniel were Near PERFECT vs the . via @YouTube.

Christian Wilkins was one of the only Miami Dolphins defenders to play decently vs the Bills #FinsUp. The whole narrative that O'Cyrus Torrence made him a non-factor needs to be stopped. It was a solid battle by both #BillsMafia
