Well hello @CityofPhoenixAZ! I can't believe it's been 7 years since I worked here at @azfamily. It was my only reporting job outside of WA and I'm sooo glad it was here. The compelling stories here helped me to eventually get hired in my dream market of Seattle. Phoenix also prepped me to love crazy, breaking news, therefore indirectly preparing me for the insanity that was news reporting in Seattle in 2020. Major appreciation for this great, HOT place!!!

#BLESSED I just blinked and realized today marks 5 years since I made my TV debut in the Seattle market, albeit at the station across the street! It was absolutely a dream come true to get hired here! True to form, I made my debut from a closed, blizzard blown Snoqualmie Pass. Given that I was coming from Phoenix, I had no qualms about having the snow blanket me! Happy 5 years!!!
