Baron Browning. Thought he came on strong at the end of last season, particularly off the edge/blitzing from the LB spot. One of my biggest keys coming back for this defense. I think he’s going to be a special player.

There is no logic here. Burrow failed to beat out a QB who threw for 4,831 yards (70%) and 50 TDs and was drafted 15th overall.
There was no refusal to play..as I’m sure you’ve also seen Burrow give thanks and appreciation for the OSU staff. Like in his Heisman Speech.

It’s less to do with the policies themselves and more with the discretion of those who control them. Written policy is not in an of itself racist. It’s like covering a bullet wound with a bandaid. You can say “this covers it! All good!” But really the problem lies much deeper.

If tOSU dominates a top 20 PSU next weekend, and PSU then drops out of the rankings, people will say they beat an overrated team.
But other teams will continue to get credit for beating Clemson, Miami, Arkansas, Texas and Florida who were ranked at the time…but aren’t anymore.

Here’s my issue with Stroud. I have 0 confidence he’d be able to get a score when needed. And I refuse to believe that the other QBs in that room would be less inspiring.
Numbers aren’t bad, but what are they in pressure situations? i.e. 3/4th down..late game/must score drives..

Curious if they could play out a scenario where Davis slides to OLB (his position according to rivals), leave Davies at CB and push Burke to Safety. That’s pushing the limit on the class, end with 27 if everything else plays out as well.

A “solid” SEC defense that gives up 25ppg and 400+ ypg...and is 5-4.....even in a down year for the conference as a whole, they still get the benefit of the doubt.
Regardless, Florida is not beating Alabama. The ACC has the best path for 2-teams, and Ohio State is a top-4 team.
