Steelers inquiring about Lawerence speaks volumes to Steelers unwillingness to just run it back with Wilson or Fields. I don’t believe Jags having any interest in dealing their guy. Good on Omar for asking, highly doubt Steelers starting QB in 25 was on roster in 24.

@zach_goodall Steelers would deal this years #1 & #2, but with draft in Pittsburgh next year I would be very surprised if next years #1 is even on the table. “I would be very surprised” indicates opinion. I did not discuss compensation.

Bigger picture, kicking the tires on Lawerence with ownership. Smart to exhaust every option when you currently have NONE.
#Jaguars conducted several zoom interviews for GM candidates this week and will do several more over the next two days. Among expected group is three assistant GMs -- Ian Cunningham (Bears), Chad Alexander (Chargers), Brandon Brown (Giants) -- and former Titans GM Jon Robinson

Steelers have made inquiries to the @Jaguars about a trade for QB Trevor Lawerence. This directly from the horses mouth in the Jags organization. WOW!

@Dejan_Kovacevic @DKPghSports It’s hard to imagine Nutting not understanding that wins equal money in his pocket. A lot of wins equals a lot of money. Two 10 million dollar hitters would cost 20 million but 20 more wins would equal 30 million in revenue, they have the starter ing pitching. GO FOR IT!
