The same guy who claimed Scholes was one of only four world class players he ever managed, and also claimed Gerrard was "not a top top player" as great as SAF was, he's wrong on Gerrard

United and Chelsea tried to sign Gerrard even tho they had Scholes and Lampard. Case closed. BUT what about England having BOTH Gerrard and Lampard and asking Scholes to come out of retirement on numerous occasions? They asked all the way until he was 35.

@footballontnt Bit misleading this. He was asked a few seconds before who the best player he'd ever played with was, he only mentioned two players, Scholes being one of them, Gerard only gets a mention cause of Neville.
