After a few rough months due to personal problems, I got a top8 on Modern Showcase Qualifier. Faced a lot of good players and went undefeated on swiss, then lost to W hammer.
Didn't expect to go this far, but I'm happy with this list and MAYBE we found the best LE list.

Top 8'ed a modern challenge with Esper Goryo's and felt frustrated instead of happy.
I was 1-0 on top8 match when my op. cast Goryo's targerting Griselbrand and I cast Commandeer on it. Mtgo bugged and I could not play lands anymore

Trying to innovate a bit. Built this version to be able to cast black spells and been pretty good so far.
Approx 76% win and more than 100 games and good % vs a lot of tier 1 decks.
Being able to cast my drop4-5 creatures won me many games.

Decided to test Archfiend and it was crucial to get this trophy(first try). Archfiend was insanely good vs Affinity and mirror, just as I thought. Some matchups that your op can rebuild fast or you have a small LE, it will put their creatures on check.

Dead/gone has been great vs UR(kill ragavan on t1 is sublime and allow us to deal with Magus), also 4 endurances allow us to fight those graveyard decks that are becoming popular(like asmo food, reanimators and UR is a huge bonus).

We got 2 trophies this time!🏆🏆🥳
Trophy 18 was pretty hard because we faced 5 tier1 decks.
Subtlety is overperforming and the changes on sb also performed beyond expected. Could not deal with a ton of problematic creatures without Subtlety and Dead/gone.

Ulamog's annihilator was decisive in a few matchups.
Frog wasn't impressive.
Emperor has great synergy with Ulamog, in other cases it was a slower Priest.

Some people asked me is Commandeer is a real card.
I saved some screen shots to answer.
It's game winning vs Rhinos, t3feri(disable counters), karn, can be used as FoN on your turn in case you only have Agent, etc
Also the fun factor is a huge plus :)

I decided to play pioneer to have fun and 5-0'd with MonoG, definitely still a good deck to play leagues. Bolas makes easier to combo and also open a range of new possibilities.

Feeling the meta shift unfavorably for FoN, I cut it from the MD and increased the number of Seizes instead. This adjustment improves our matchup against counter decks, strengthens our t1 plays, and eventually serves as an enabler for Goryos

The "correct" line here is hardcast FoN. If they counter it back, you steal t3feri and play the long game with t3feri at your side.
Open with commandeer here isn't good imo, if they have Dovin's Veto(and they did), you lose so many cards/resource that might cost you the game

I coached

Sealed events to get the token on MOL are all bugged
Event crashing, sideboard time reduced to 1 minute and the game firing while we're still building the deck(with 1-2 minutes left)resulting a 140 card deck.
This is so frustrating for those who want the token
