@JonBowie1 @callumrowlinson These days it’s harder for clubs to put on races with the legislation and road costs involved. Professional companies have a full time payroll to take care of and prize money is dwindling in a lot of races now.

@JonBowie1 @callumrowlinson I won it 5 times, first did it in 2009, the first year after the organiser, Doug Morris died. His family and the local committee kept it going. It was £400 and hotel stay. The hotel didn’t sponsor it this year, so that omission is fair enough.
