@factual1st @philipmurraylaw Agree re palliative care but it's not either/or. I doubt such stats are collected but plenty of evidence from friends and families of loved ones' ends. #AssistedDyingBill an addition to the long overdue domination of medical authority alone.

Wonderful to be back in the US and speak at the Four Arts Society in Palm Beach and @HighPointU in North Carolina last week. You can feel the optimism in the US now back under Donald Trump’s leadership. Together the US and the UK have stood for freedom for centuries and if we are strong at this crucial moment, the world will be better for it for decades to come.
