@alexvazz @GabyDibs I have this take (like many takes y'all know that I have) that they are always like 5/10 years behind the trends of what's actually/currently cool. That music is also hard to translate to live performance. Production was basic. Game sucked as well. 1 word for it all: Forgettable

It's just, not good performing music. Rap generally isn't. Sounding like he was screaming the entire time and the songs aren't BOPS. The message and symbolism and all that stuff y'all get caught up with - I'm cool with. But I'm judging the musicality and performance. Mid.

Kendrick Lamar may not be your style music and that’s ok. But the dude came out sporting the American flag, everyone was fully clothed and there was no obvious signs of satanic worship. I understand our bar isn’t set high these days - but conservatives need to pick their battles. This was a W guys. Calm down.
