@SirDonovan2nd @hwmaqbul @khateeb88 Especially when there was such a high degree of constant repetition of the Qur'an daily, you hear the Qur'an day in, day out. From the day you are aware of your cognitive faculties until you pass away

@sultanm28903166 @_titanslayer_ I don't get why she is so against induction, the overwhelming majority of our beliefs are formed via inductive inferences. The science she cherishes so much is the same

@ZouhairsMurid @KrieguFriede @ToSalaf @fawiddchannel I was responding like a salafi nutjob would, they believe anything false about the Ashariyyah, because of their pre-existing biases.... everyone needs to touch grass

@ZouhairsMurid @KrieguFriede @ToSalaf @fawiddchannel Because we know everything that is said about the Ashariyyah is saheeh, only if its bad. I mean it has to be right? Right?

The term 'revert' isn't entirely accurate, yes we have the fitrah but the fitrah doesn't include intuitively knowing about the Prophethood of Rasulullah(SAW). So in what sense are we reverting to Islam, if we are unaware of the second part of the shahada
I’ve noticed a lot of people are against the word “revert” and prefer “convert.” What’s the reason for it? I’ve always been told to call myself a revert since we are all born Muslims but our parents change our religion. I have no problem with either word but curious to know why.

@Raaaatiba @mahdi_ina @Haqiqatjou Salafis don't have a problem with salawat, as it's established in authentic narrations. Istigatha is a different thing entirely, there aren't narrations to support it.

@reasonxbledoubt @sitaslayerr @faizan0008 Yes, but not everyone is entitled to do so. Wisdom, pragmatics and common sense are needed to carry out the advice. If you know someone isn't receptive to the advice, why advise?
