@BobbyDazz12 That's why I feel that the movie version that we got on the original VHS 📼 release was better for this story. It also does not work as well when watched episodically over the three weeks between episodes.

@YesterdaysBrit1 This was the year of my birthday so wasn't given the opportunity at the time.

@BobbyDazz12 It's great to actually have enough to fill the shelf and have the option of watching from the standard edition now for a good majority of the seasons.

@BobbyDazz12 I always say if you don't like the TV version and also don't enjoy the novel either then it's just not for you.

@BobbyDazz12 @TheMestor I never doubted your enjoyment of long serials. I am on the same page. To be honest. Something that I love about the early years of classic who.

@BobbyDazz12 I believe it's been so since the 1990s, Because they don't seem to focus on trying to convince the audience that he is the Doctor. You are practically back into watching him as his Doctor from episode 2. The full location recording adds a special note to his opening story.

@BobbyDazz12 @TheMestor If you leave people in it causes confusion, if you take them out they wonder why 🫤

@TheMestor @BobbyDazz12 I have noticed that you tend to not enjoy watching serials that run to six episodes or more. I appreciate this isn't true for all, however it has been a key thing in post about them running too long.
