@Givemenoughrope @jeremycorbyn @ScotNational Of all the absurd arguments. More Germans than Brits died in the Second World War. Does that make the Nazis the good guys? Don't get me wrong; peaceful, ordinary German people were victims, but the blame rests with the Nazis, not us.

@MartinS24561589 @jeremycorbyn @ScotNational Unsurprisingly. It would appear that, in the immortal words of Smash Mouth, you 'ain't the sharpest tool in the shed'.

@brownliberite @tomhfh Students who want to learn shouldn't have to be dragged down by tearaways, and teachers shouldn't have to constantly juggle teaching with crowd control. This isn't an extreme position.

@stevearkwright @SheilaBurgoyne1 @RedWallPleb @jeremycorbyn I'm applying it to the fanatics who attacked a music festival and tortured people in their homes, not the democratic government who retaliated against them. If you do otherwise you're beyond help.

If she's advocating restoring the British Mandate, well...even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.
Trump has clearly not spoken to a single Palestinian about this plan. Gaza is our land. Palestine is our home. Peace cannot come at the cost of our country. I urge the UK and the whole international community to resist him. Recognise Palestine now, before it's too late.

Balls to Mauritius and balls to the 'International Telecommunication Union'. This feels like a post-hoc justification from people who believe handing away territory is an end in itself.
1. Why couldn’t the government bloody say this publicly? 2. Why does the foreign office think soft power outranks hard power? 3. Does any rational human being really believe that a military base of TWO P5 UNSC members would be stripped of its electromagnetic spectrum conrol?

@SheilaBurgoyne1 @RedWallPleb @jeremycorbyn Sometimes (often), yesterday's terrorist is still today's terrorist, and will also be tomorrow's terrorist.

@PeteB93287297 @tomhfh It's for the market to make that judgement, not the courts. It's only an issue for the courts if people are paid differently for the same job with the same experience etc.
