It's bad math though. You took it from data more than a decade old, while also ignoring the recent updates FOR Union VA work. Which includes premiums for strenuous/harsher sessions (aggressive VA, yells, etc. etc.), as well as pushes that increased the base rate.

And the $4000 was a flat rate, i.e. salaried. 4k for the entirety of it that sure could have been 16 hours of sessions... Or could just as easily been 20-30+ hrs based on the multiple Bayonettas and the requirements for it. It's about as bad a deal as you could be given.
