Thought I would explain a bit of the situation. Due to the rule where we are allowed to only have 2 transfers during the season (the admins made an exception for waken to be replaced temporarily with stike), and due to stike and njoy's availability I am stepping up today to play

Keeping a consistent playstyle across all maps is key to a team's success. Diamant understands their trap heavy/site lockdown slow playstyle, and run off-meta comps that bolster this.
There's a difference between playing off-meta for the sake of it, and off-meta with a purpose.

Been a really long season. Lots of random things happening blindsided me, and so many unfortunate results with such insanely close games. Bottom of the table, but that means it's only up from here.

I use a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, it's been a couple of years now but it still performs well on intensive games like Elden Ring, and I've travelled a lot with it. Very sturdy build and not too much overheating for a laptop. Excited to be part of an org that is partnered with them

So far in kickoff, APAC teams on Sunset have been playing viper mainly, and without a breach. NA and China like viper too, but most of EMEA tier 2 likes breach.
If EMEA tier 1 likes breach, we might see an interesting clash of styles come Madrid.

Pistol rounds should not be a round where you take a gamble on a detailed, risky, one-off strategy. Make it a refined version of one of your best strategies.
It is one of the single most impactful rounds in the entire game. Play for consistency over flair on these rounds.

Speaking of momentum: 1 clutch from pancada, and they come back. Before that, 1 clutch from nzr at 3-3 turned the half into a 7-5, and the eco defuse at 7-6 from Furia turned into 11-6. Crazy how much impact 1 moment can have not just in economy, but in the team mental too.

Combining all of Italy Spain and Portugal into one should have at least been done equally imo, even though it is under the Spanish banner. There are a lot of very good teams and players who will miss out now because of this change. Overnight everything can change.

Realised that one team from each major region won, and one team lost out of the 2 representatives so far in swiss. 3 of the games were also 2-1, pretty clearly an even playing field between all of the regions. Please riot no games with same region vs same region

For me at least it’s because we try to follow a specific style of play in particular with similar defensive win conditions. The comps I draft are fairly similar on maps that I feel play similarly. Sometimes we take meta comps if they fit, sometimes I go cook
