A dollar is Displayed as 1.00 a dime is .10 and a penny is .01 This is how satoshis work. A single Bitcoin is displayed as 100,000,000 Satoshi. Therefore, in the future we may transact in Satoshi as a medium of exchange but it does not change the cap of 21 million BTC.
