Every sympathy with Ronnie if he’s suffering with his mental health. But are WST going put processes in place whereby someone who keeps missing events on medical grounds must be assessed and deemed fit to work by a clinician before entering another comp? Best for all concerned

Strong case for Bethell batting 3 in ODIs and Tests. Or Root batting 3 in both, with Bethell at 4. Why are Root and Brook unsuited to batting 3 in Tests, but Bethell, with no experience, expected to thrive? And yet Bethell goes below them in ODIs.

Remarkably shortsighted from Skelton to give up his voice and primary means of defence, when he’s very often needing to defend himself over one thing or another.
Racing is losing the plot. If I were a trainer I'd see a TV interview as a huge opportunity to promote my business. They're getting hugely valuable exposure free. And they should embrace every chance to promote the sport, indeed it ought to be in their license terms.
