Some may like the education reforms presently being considered and some may not, but the focus on teaching and learning that is being brought to education under devolution would not have been considered otherwise… the fact the media don’t cover important things doesn’t mean they are not happening…

All this talk about Greenland reminds me to watch this season of Borgen again!
“I had Erik Prince on my podcast last week,” says @SeanSpicer about the Blackwater founder. “Erik was telling me that they actually were a lot close to striking a deal with Greenland in the first term than any of us ever knew.” Trump and his advisers, Sean says, “believe strategically that this is very important.” #Greenland #Trump @2waytvapp

A story that would likely have been rejected as a possible April Fools’ day entry for being too implausible!
Revealed | A radical 1950s plan which would have dammed Strangford Lough to create a far smaller freshwater lake is set out in newly declassified files from the old Government of Northern Ireland. ✍️ @SJAMcBride

Few ministers leave office with a greater legacy than @NickGibbUK … an extraordinary achievement which will stand the test of time …
Congratulations to Sir @NickGibbUK! He left millions of children more able to read, better educated and with a richer and deeper knowledge of the world. Over his 10 years as Schools Minister, England rose from: - 10th to 4th in the world in Reading. - 27th to 11th in Maths.
