I go through 50-100 charts every single day. Take 1-2 trades, sometimes none. Why? Because winners don’t chase—they wait. FOMO? That’s weakness talking. Discipline? That’s strength. You want thousands a day? Master patience. Discipline won’t promise success, but it’s how champions tilt the odds.

The Mountain Doesn’t Matter, The Next Step Does During an interview with @lexfridman, @BillAckman was asked how he handled tough times when things were not going his way, when he was alone at night facing setbacks. Bill said "I learned this method for dealing with these kinds of moments, which is you just make a little progress every day. So today I’m gonna wake up I’m gonna make progress you know make progress in litigation make progress in my portfolio I’ll make progress with my life. And progress compounds a bit like money compounds. You don’t see a lot of progress in the first few weeks but like 30 days in you’re like oh okay. You can’t look up at the mountaintop where you used to be because then you’ll give right up. But just take step by step by step. And then 90 days in you’re like okay I was way down there okay I’m not where I want to be yet so I don’t want to look up I just keep making progress progress progress. And progress really does compound. And one day you wake up like wow it’s amazing how far I’ve come." And that is the key. We all get caught up staring at the mountaintop wondering how we will ever reach it. But the truth is the peak is not the goal the next step is. Every great trader, every successful entrepreneur, every high performer you see did not start by running. They scooted first, then crawled, then walked with trial and error, then jogged, and finally they ran! The guy making $30k a day once struggled to make $30. The difference is he kept moving forward. You do not climb a mountain by leaping to the top. You climb it one step at a time. So stop focusing on where you should be and start focusing on what you can control today. Win the day. Learn. Improve. Adapt. Because success is not found in giant leaps but in the quiet, relentless steps forward when no one is watching. The real breakthrough does not come from reaching the peak. It comes from becoming the person who never stops climbing.
