This issue is no less relevant in Alaska. Last year, I tried to pass HB 254 that required age verification on porn sites to protect minors, but was stonewalled. I have introduced several bills that protect children from exploitation. This year I introduced HB 46 that requires age verification in App stores and HB 47 that criminalizes AI generated CSAM. Let’s work together to protect the vulnerable! #stopswithus
#StopsWithUs @jacobooyensministries JBM stands with NCOSE Law in this battle to eliminate CSAM from online sites. Massive reform is needed as 750,000 predators are on social media sites at any given time coercing children to share CSAM. Congress is complicit as they dance around the subject, because so many of them have their own diabolical porn accounts and addictions. Compromised politicians will not defend your children no matter what party they represent.

The Majority has indicated they won’t draw from savings this year. What they haven’t said out loud is that they have no problem redistributing money from the PFD to other programs. Rumors are is the PFD will fall well below 25% of statute. Their strategy is to not need the Republican minorities for anything and the only way to stop them is uphold a veto.

Today is my husband Jeff’s 50th birthday! When you see him in the bus line at Paul Banks Elementary; wish him a happy birthday and drop him a rice krispy treat. 🥳 This is my favorite photo of him because it captures his joy. Jeff is so much more than I ever imaged an husband and father could be. He is the most selfless man and is always serving others with a smile on his face. I feel so blessed to have such a godly man in my life. Happy birthday, my love! 🎂

@907Honest What a great day to be alive! It’s going to be a whole new world where Americans will have to learn to be independent and take care of our own.

Common sense is back! Now it’s time for Alaska to pass this as state law affirming that we agree no biological males playing in women’s sports. Thank you to our common sense Congress and @POTUS

@alaskanrobby Nice try. I still believe in the historical formula of a full PFD. The words “not less than” is because the Democrats want to take more than 75% of the statutory amount but are not interesting in anything than a hostile takeover of the dividend.

🚨 Legislative Education Working Group Governor Dunleavy has invited each caucus to collaborate on an education bill. We are meeting regularly to discuss policy reforms and what we can afford in the state budget without slashing your PFD or implementing new taxes. As we continue to face budgetary challenges, I want to emphasize the importance of collaboration and open dialogue in addressing Alaska's education system. While I am fully committed to supporting quality education for all students (including the fact that I voted for the budget that fully funded the BSA and gave an additional $322 million, the largest one-time funding increase to education), it's clear that the state does not have the money to fill every district's deficit. Major reforms are necessary, and that includes the careful rethinking of our budget priorities and necessary reforms to help our students. 💡 That's why I’ve introduced HB 29 School Healthcare Pooling Bill, which has the potential to save millions in healthcare costs for our districts. I am also working on legislation aimed at creating more budgetary transparency so you can ensure that every dollar is spent wisely and efficiently. (The KPBSD already has its full budget on its website for you to review!) The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District (KPBSD) is facing a $17M deficit, which didn’t happen overnight. This is a call to action for all of us — parents, educators, and community members — to engage in ongoing discussions with our local school board to help find sustainable solutions. 💬 It is important to understand that your elected school board members face difficult decisions, including school consolidation, staffing, curriculum, and budget. These decisions are not within my jurisdiction, but I will be working to understand the full implications. This is a collective effort — we all need to work together to find solutions that will secure our students' future and ensure they receive the education they deserve. 🌱✨ Let’s keep the conversation going and work toward a brighter future for Alaska's children. #AlaskaEducation #BudgetReform #HB29 #TogetherForOurKids

The fact that this was even a question astounds me. I am working on legislation that would require the AKDOE to verify citizenship to remove illegals from the voter rolls. Clean voter rolls shouldn’t be a battleground. It should be accurate, honest, legal and transparent. End of story.
BREAKING: The Department of Justice has just ended their lawsuit against Virginia for removing illegals from the voter rolls. This means that all 50 states can now remove illegals from their voter rolls. Let the purge begin!
