Louisiana, we began a movement!!! So thankful to everyone who fights to protect kids from online hardcore pornography. And a big thanks to Texas for successfully defending age verification at the 5th Circuit Court of Appeal. We wont stop fighting because our kids are worth it.

Crime is out of control. Our economy will continue to suffer if people take advantage of a situation to break in to parked cars. And don’t forget the provision that holds offenders more accountable if they commit a string of car burglaries, including in residential areas.

Nope, it’s definitely about protecting children. No 10 yr. old should be able to see a video titled “Daddy please don't c** inside of me, I am your daughter” which btw was one of the many videos on the landing page of a large porn site that freely allows minors to access it

So what do we do now? I believe people should be informed of this information so I have requested the “good time” release dates and parole eligible dates for all the murderers whose sentences were recently commuted. I’ve also requested a list of all LWOP (life without parole)

Companies in the physical world can’t enter into contracts with children without parental consent. But somehow, they are given a pass online. HB61 will simply require parental consent before kids enter into binding contracts with social media platforms and other online businesses

Thankfully, my legislation to address this exact issue passed this session, which will require insurers to “interpret all actions of a civil authority without regard to whether formal orders of evacuation were issued” when determining prohibited use coverage next hurricane season
Policy holders in parishes that didn't issue mandatory evacuation orders during Hurricane Ida aren't entitled to reimbursements for expenses like food, gas and hotels during their stay out of harm’s way, a judge ruled.
