I had the displeasure of hearing HB25-1010 “Prohibiting Price Gouging in Sales of Necessities” in committee until late last night… Using a Kamala Harris priority that isn’t even a concern of the @GovofCO and the @COAttnyGeneral Office (confirmed by his office in testimony), the @COHouseDem want to add more damaging regulation and litigation on Colorado grocers and businesses that provide us the food and necessities that we need in our day-to-day lives… Hear my final comments on this bill and exactly how horrible it is for Colorado that doesn’t have this problem, nor the need for a presumptive partisan solution… This bill squeaked through House Business Affairs & Labor Committee last night with a 7-6 vote… Contact your local legislators and Governor Polis to kill this bill sooner than later…

We need to trust in our federal government and federal law enforcement to fix the problem that our state (@GovofCO and @COHouseDem) have created in making our state the playground for violent criminal/terrorist groups (TdA and cartels) that have built their staging area in Colorado as a “sanctuary state” that not only welcomes them, but offers them $$$ assistance to thrive… Thousands flock to Colorado Capitol as part of nationwide protest against Trump and Project 2025

Yesterday was “Greeley Day at the Capitol” and I was proud to hang out with those from a city that I represent and grew up in… It was a busy day with meetings and Judiciary Committee and an event last night that made it a long, crazy day from start (7am at the Capitol) to finish (8pm leaving the Capitol)…

This is why @COHouseDem and @GovofCO need to focus on allowing law enforcement agencies to cooperate in these criminal/terrorist organizations being deported, as well as higher penalties for stealing firearms for the street market of firearms used in violent crimes… You can start by supporting my bill HB25-1062 (Penalty for Theft of Firearms) this year…
