My kiddo stopped talking as a result of the trauma he suffered. He communicated by barking. For months I didn't understand why. Until a stranger asked him. He barked because everyone likes dogs, so he thought if he acted like a dog...the staff would like him. #RemoveTheRoom

*cough* This is why detention legislation must be included in the restrictive practices review. To limit a child's rights (access to break/lunch times) as a disproportionate punishment is a restrictive practice! *cough*

This is a tad late, given mass migration of those on legacy benefits happened prior to Christmas Many of these making the move over where families who have been plunged into debt right before Christmas. Some are still paying back loans or things like overpayment by tax credits
