Attended charming monthly profile concert of the 'Bratislava Hot Serenaders' yesterday at SD Nivy in Bratislava, that brought us back to music of 1920-30ies. Dedicated to Ball/Carnival season and to heavenly 85th birthday of their former singer, Slovak actor Milan Lasica.👌

Marking the start of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity we prayed at 13th century St George's Church at Poprad-Spišská Sobota (Georgenberg) with central Gothic altar of built by Master Paul of Levoča. HM The Queen Elizabeth II visited it in 2008.

5 years after our last pre-Covid time Balls (at Opera & in the UK), we attended again one - the Representative Ball of Čadca, native town of Dana. Coincidentally, the outstanding Slovak singer Pavol Hammel was singing, exactly like 5 years ago at Czechoslovak Ball in Manchester.

Warsaw' Museum of John Paul II and Primate Wyszyński reminded about today's veneration of Blessed Titus Zeman SDB, Slovak Salesian, defender of religion liberties. He was born 110 years ago 4 Jan 1915 and died on 8 Jan 1969 after long imprisonment (1952-1964). Beatified in 2017.
