What a day we‘ve had at

. We enjoyed the safari drive before lunch then watched the sea lion show before calling into the safari school to learn all about the rainforest. We even had time for a trip to the playground and a lovely lolly ice to cool us down.

R2 had an amazing number day in aid of The NSPCC. We made domino biscuits, had a number hunt outside, made play dough birthday cakes, explored clocks and time. We also explored calculators although at first we were a bit confused and thought they were mobile phones!! 📚🕙

loved decorating their gingerbread men today. They used their super counting skills to carefully count out the eyes and buttons before seeing how many bites it took to eat him at snack time!

We like to explore in our outdoor area, the children made a water slide for their animals, we needed water to help the animals slide down the children had a brilliant idea 💡 let’s squirt water down it.

listened carefully to instructions on how to plant our beans. First we used a trowel to help put the soil in the plant pot. Then pushed our bean into the soil and put more soil on top. Finally we watered our beans and put them in the Sun to help them grow 🫛

What a busy day R3 have had as mathematicians! We have sorted buttons into sets, made Lego number towers and made numicon cities. We sang number songs and even made gingerbread men. We counted the body parts and added our favourite number of buttons. Well done R3!
