@MarilynHeineMD is a tremendous advocate for physicians and patients. She is quietly behind the scenes doing the work! I admire and appreciate her so much ❤️
Great to see all the amazing things that Pennsylvania physician, AMA board member and my mentor, Marilyn Heine, is doing for organized medicine. There’s no better advocate for physician issues than Marilyn!

@PAsRTSolution1 @pppforpatients It’s a big experiment on patients to allow NPs/PAs to have their own panels - I don’t see academic institutions studying this even though Hattiesburg ACO changed policies to true physician led teams based on their safety/ efficacy/ cost data.

@PAsRTSolution1 @pppforpatients “Steaban said the hospital now has more than 300 APPs, and they are responsible for most direct and minute-to-minute provider care in the hospital, in collaboration with attending physicians. 'Advanced practice practitioners are key to the work that we do,' she said."
