Oniks, the Russian cousin of Brahmos has a frontal RCS of only 0.15 sqm in 10-12 GHz ie X band. The RCS is a bit higher in S and C band. The Ukrainians were able to intercept only 12 out of 211 missiles. Ukraine’s IADS is more sophisticated than what Pak has currently has.

The best news or revelation from the ACM is that MWF ie Tejas mk2 is supposed to have its first flight in Oct,2025. All test flying and certification activities are scheduled to be completed by Dec,27 and service induction will happen in 28.

Nope. You are reading too much. After spending almost a fortune on upgrading each jet, IAF will always want to keep the jet flying for as long as it can. Initially Su-30MKI had a 4000 hr airframe TTSL. That will be increased now based on fatigue tests of parts and structures.

We tend to use this 400 km range of 40N6 very liberally at the drop of a hat but there are many caveats involved here. Simplistically speaking, this range is against a large non maneuvering target like a refueller or a B-52 sized bomber flying in a straight line at >35kft.

In an effort to keep pace with us, PAF has bought the 300 km range variant of HQ9BE. PA already has the 125 km range HQ9P.
Pak is slowly upping the ante despite its deplorable economic condition.
And here we are drafting Marvel esque GSQR nd buying 50-100 PGM thru emer proc.
It appears the PAF has received the HQ9BE (300km range as per ISPR), these will be complementing the PA AD's older HQ9P (125km) systems.
And range of PA AD's LY80EV has been released as 70km.

DMRL has already initiated studies to extend TTSL of AL-31FP beyond 2000 hrs. They have already increased the TBO period to 1000 hrs from the initial OEM mandated 500 hrs.

If S-400 is literally as useless as say why did Pak Army take such pains to induct a sasta copy of S-300PMU1, ie NORINCO HQ-9P with max range of 125 km when it had other pressing nd competing priorities and it's cap budg is limited.The 4 HIMAD regiment I believe is operational.
