This morning Robbie + I took Mom + Dad to get vaccinated (both 60+). People were out in droves at the centre, on Campus. The process seemed smooth + orderly. I was impressed that, when we outlined Dad's mobility issues, we were directed to park + parents got the jabs in the car!

My daughter has her 1st dance show this wkend, so she has rehearsal every evening this week. Today I got close enough 2 watch her dance; she ignored all choreo, went in opposite directions, sat on stage as she felt like, ran across at points...and I could cry. It was so perfect.

Can we predict the number of these who will actually be going INTO teaching? The Minister can’t just throw these figures around knowing full well that so many of these will be heading into areas like insurance etc.
Williams says 964 specialists teachers have finished training and are available for the public education system. The teachers cover areas such as chemistry, computer science, English language and mathematics. 121 of the teachers are on a gov't programme with a five-year bond.

Dr. Chang taught my Mom at UWI. Decades later, I had the privilege of being his student, as well. Hands down, one of my favourite lecturers across the three years. Vast knowledge! Quick wit! Beautiful and caring person! Oh...and the eatings on the last day of class❤️ RIP Doc.
