Agreed. I think the drugs and a lazy streak lowered motivation, which heightened insecurities, which led to more drugs, then bitterness. Sad thing is, Paul had no problem being Robin to his Batman. Ringo says it to this day - if not for Paul, they wouldn’t have put out half the stuff they did.
