“I’m a dedicated communist” bro you won’t come to OC meetings, talk to your coworkers, wear a union pin, participate in rallies, come to bargaining, talk to an organizer or do a walkthrough no ur not
I hope socialists don’t take this moment in labor to separate ourselves from the working class or use red unionism to cut corners, consensus for socialism can only be built on the shop floor

I hope to be one of these older women at labor notes, sitting on the floor of a crowded workshop and telling a younger version of myself to keep fighting and that it’s never easy but we do it anyway
Uma has helped lead the second largest chapter in the country, UCSB YDSA, which has won successful pressure campaigns against food and healthcare insecurity. She is a dining worker at UCSB and helped found the effort to unionize student workers at the University of California.

@UAW
So excited about this, they really are leaders in this movement and as someone who is graduating in 3 months I know the union I fought incredibly hard to have is in good hands
I'm running for NCC At-Large! I've been the chair of University of Oregon YDSA for the past two years during which I have helped grow our chapter, build our 4,000 member undergraduate student worker union UOSW, and organize wins through our Palestine Encampment.
The thing no one talks about with organizing is that when you really challenge power you have to fail over and over again to make things change. Try, fail, fail again, fail better, fail one more time and then finally win a concession.
B&R is excited to announce our slate for YDSA NCC at the 2024 YDSA Convention: Carlos C & Uma C for YDSA Co-Chair and Daniil S & Jeffrey C for NCC At-Large. Our slate is ready to fight for YDSA autonomy, movement democracy, and strong labor and student unions.

@UAW
Genuinely so excited to see us come from a group of pissed off workers with a crazy idea to members and organizers in one of the strongest unions today
I can’t relate to desperation but I can relate to waking up to a text from my boss that someone left the empty box for a gun in the communal recycling and the cops questioning my floor all afternoon
@BlackRedGuard1
I think he can tweet about faux "rank and file" non-union affiliated formations taking silly disorganizing positions against his union, as a treat.
LSC is excited to endorse Bryce Springfield for YDSA's National Coordinating Committee. Bryce is a steadfast supporter of member-led democracy and stands behind YDSA's ongoing struggle for Palestinian liberation. We hope you will consider supporting him for YDSA's next NCC!
Here’s some basic information on my platform & organizing experience! Please come to the NCC at-large debate this coming Sunday to hear more about me and other candidates running
