Federal employee retirements are processed using paper, by hand, in an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania. 700+ mine workers operate 230 feet underground to process ~10,000 applications per month, which are stored in manila envelopes and cardboard boxes. The retirement process takes multiple months.

@fordoglunk I would like to see something where skills always have a gold cost but you don’t have to choose between item upgrades and skills, then make skill vendors better and more rare but idk I’m pretty bad at this game so could be misguided

@DeepDishEnjoyer I know a very good engineer who had offers from both Palantir and Comcast. Comcast role/offer was better in every single way despite a 30 minute commute lol. I think second tier is being very generous.

@idoccor I use sonnet for most things as well. It’s gotten a lot better and definitely surprises me sometimes but I’d say over half the time I ask it to do anything outside of basic web programming I have to rewrite it
