A year ago yesterday, I completely my last day of placement as a student nurse. I specifically remember as it was the day before my eldests birthday (she’s 11 today!). Just 2 weeks off pin-iversary! How fast has that gone?!

No one makes us feel more appreciated than our @Nurse_Oldham does! Very lucky to have her as our PDN! Worden away day on Monday, I feel very awkward seeing positive comments about myself but it’s lovely to see nonetheless 💜

I still find being a nurse surreal. Picked up a bank shift on a different ward in my unit, working with an agency nurse, I’m classed as the regular nurse on a ward I’m not overly familiar with. I’m trusted to do this and I know what I’m doing 🤯 pure madness 😂
