The one blessed with gifts is married. The girl getting pampered is single. Being tethered in marriage is the Nigerian clause for respect and regard. Single girls/women are not worthy of such accolades, it's almost as if they are plagued by a debilitating disease.

I'm so sorry..I grew up in Kaduna, I'm a Christian Convert born into a Muslim home but I have experienced animosity first hand. I've been lynched twice,had to leave an area wearing someone's hijab. It's so upsetting that people invalidate these happenings.

I can relate to those saner times,My friend Bola he'd cook and we'd all sit on the floor and eat, we'd go for parties and the boys would make sure we got home safely afterwards. No airs nothing the bond is still as strong as it was when I met them 18years ago.

While the idea of clubs and restaurants are great and fantastic, more recreational areas are needed if you ask me. We have a largely youthful demographic in Nigeria and not all our time will be spent in clubs or restaurants.

Across board in Nigeria military and paramilitary personnel are underpaid, overworked and disgruntled. You work and your superiors take the lion's share home. If there is a lot of proper remuneration morale will be high attitude to work will improve, corruption will be curbed.

I graduated with a third class and I struggled with going back to school because I thought I'd fail again.I've discovered I'm highly cerebral and I didn't put in as much effort as I should have in my undergrad years. I've dust myself and gotten up. Grades don't define anyone.

I have so many funny valentine stories. In secondary school my val Abdullahi tall,dark and full of mouth🤭🤭 gave me a gold necklace set. I was so giddy. Next day at school, his Mum shows up🤭🤭😂😂turns out it was hers. I had to return it under a cloud of shame😂😂😂.
