Tea on the beach. For those wondering, we are not yet married. This was a long overdue engagement photoshoot which happened over the weekend.

We hit the jackpot in second hand crockery. An almost complete set of Wedgwood willow tree. So naturally now I'm clearing out the cupboards and getting rid of the other mismatch stuff. And amazingly/thankfully, it did NOT cost us an arm and a leg.

The finished pieces, off to Birmingham to be hallmarked then back to us for the big day ❤️ Took us 5 hours to make.
It's our last anniversary as fiancé's. So we spent it making our wedding rings. It was a wonderful experience and I am bold enough to say I am proud of what we made. From a strip of gold into a ring to last a lifetime. No image of the finished pieces yet as we were busy!

Good Morning. This lovely cottage is on the Lanhydrock Estate. When inside, it was instantly apparent its the same size as our cottage now.
With a staircase in the middle and a room either side. It really is a little hobbit house.

Good Evening. While on our excursions at Lanhydrock, we had quite a few comments on how well we were dressed. It is becoming apparent there are more & more out there also making the effort to simply dress appropriately. We saw a few on the same day. It was good to see. Keep going

We should never forget.
I had the privilege of flying this beauty a few years ago. Used in the D-day landings, then later converted to a training aircraft shortly after the war. It was a privilege, knowing who sat were I did, what they went through. It brought a heavy heart.

Last night's Dickensian evening was a huge success. Incredibly busy, last year we sold 52 kilos, this year, somehow, we sold 70 kilos of chestnuts.

Very wet site visit today for the location of the new village allotments. Not only to stop development on this field but to encourage the locals to get into "growing your own" along with having a community Orchard on the same site.
