@Holden_Culotta @walterkirn There is no reversing course. We had an opportunity to do that in 2008 but instead we created a much larger problem. The only way out at this point is a debt jubilee of some kind

@KeenanPeachy If we built mass produced nuclear reactors we could probably get the price of electricity down to 3-4c per kWh

@BrentAWilliams2 Most physicians I know would not encourage their children to practice medicine. It is a very demanding career and given the upfront commitment of time and money, not very lucrative compared to alternatives

@DelusionPosting You can’t have a debt based monetary system and a current account deficit without monetary inflation or increasing velocity of money. Otherwise where does the money come from to pay interest on new loans?
