Matt is home recovering with family. Robinson was charged with 6 separate firearm charges, including 2 counts of assault with intent to commit murder. He was arraigned today and sent to the ACI.

While responding to a call for a motor vehicle accident, Ofc. Jose Deschamps and Lt. James Barros were alerted that a baby in a nearby home was not breathing. Both responded to the scene and Ofc. Deschamps performed CPR, saving the child's life.

Officer Matthew McGloin, a 9yr veteran of the Department, was shot yesterday by Tyrone Robinson, 19 of Prov. The bullet struck Matt's ballistic vest. The vest prevented serious injury or worse. Matt was treated at Roger Williams Hospital and released shortly after 1am.

Great work by Detective Kevin Costa and Detective Sergeant Timothy McGann who located Jasper and returned him to the Providence Animal Rescue League for further treatment. Jasper was stolen from PARL during a burglary that occurred on March 10th. Investigation is ongoing.

Today at 930am the TD Bank on Westminster St. was robbed of an underdetermined amount of $ by a lone male. By 10am, Adam Hanrahan, 33 of West Warwick, was arrested by PPD and CPD inside the Dollar Tree store in Cranston. He is charged w/ 2nd degree robbery. Good job by all.

Another great job by our Intelligence and Organized Crime Bureau! The Operation Street Sweep investigation led to 24 indictments with 19 arrested and held w/o bail for street level crack/cocaine distribution. 22 had previous drug charges and 11 had previous gun charges.
