Whenever me and my fiancé travel together, if one of us gets upgraded and the other doesn’t, I first offer it to her, and then I refuse it myself if she doesn’t want it.

Need the designation between scalping and true resale. I’ve had several times where I could no longer attend an event and wanted to try to at least get my money back.
Maybe artists are the ones designating the solution. A % over face value as a max amount seems to do the trick.

Dave Ramsey consistently argues that nobody becomes a millionaire off credit card points, and that is such a straw man argument. I don’t know anyone that’s ever suggested this.
At the end of the day, it’s still free money as long as you’re paying off your balance every month!

In my opinion, the best part about having status with an airline isn’t the upgrades, free luggage, or boarding.

The DOT has a rule that all airlines flying in the US, even international carriers, MUST issue a refund if you cancel your booking within 24 hours of purchase.
The lesson? If you see a super cheap flight, book it as soon as you see it. You have 24 hours to figure it out. ✈️
